Field Trips

Bucknell's diverse setting offers students a wide variety of geologic and environmental experiences. Our faculty take advantage of this setting by getting their classes out in the field as much as possible, taking field trips or assigning class projects in geologically or environmentally-significant areas.

The map of central Pennsylvania (below) shows some of the field trip locations that we commonly visit. Please select a location from the list below the map to learn more about our off-campus teaching facilities.
