Fall Programs for High School Seniors

Bucknell is offering serveral opportuntiies for high school seniors to visit campus this fall and talk directly with students, faculty, and staff about the University. Attend an open house to find out what life is really like at Bucknell. Hear about our expectations and atmosphere. Learn about the possibilities that await you after you graduate. The options are as follows:

Open House

Come to campus for a continental breakfast, activities fair, lunch with students, facilities and campus tour, academic fair, and more.

All three of the following Open House dates will also include the College of Engineering.

Representatives from Financial Aid, Career Services, and Admissions will also be on hand to answer questions.

Engineering Open House

Learn about the seven majors and two dual-degree programs in the College of Engineering; experience lunch in our cafeteria; chat with students, faculty and staff; and end the day with a campus tour. Representatives from Financial Aid, Career Services, and Admissions will also be on hand to answer questions.

Across Extremes/Issues of the 21st Century

A free conference for high school seniors!  All participants must be able to attend the entire conference (October 21-23).  For those using our transportation to the conference, your visit with start Thursday evening, October 21.  For all others, your visit will start on Friday, October 22. 

Everyone will attend the Open House and experience a day on campus by participating in an activities fair, having lunch with students, talking with faculty members at the academic fair and taking a facility and campus tour. 

At the end of Open House, you will either reconnect with your overnight host or meet your host prior to the start of the Issues for the 21st Century conference.  For the rest of the conference you will be exploring divisive issues such as global warming, health care, religion and the death penalty.
