2011-2012 Season

Our productions represent the creative laboratory where we apply the theories taught in our courses
to live performance - the only element we need to add to this mix is you - our audiences! This year we explore the theme of literary and visual inspiration. From Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice and the 1928 prose poem, The Wild Party, to the paintings of Edward Hopper, performing artists are drawn to all forms of art and respond to that art with live performance. In this day of mass media the stage is still the place where the human experience can be best expressed and felt. Join us as we tell stories, dance dances, sing music, and create what we like to call "theatre magic".

Our 2011-2012 artistic season and guest artist master classes and workshops would not be possible without the generous support of the Bucknell Association for the Arts and the Richard A. Klein Theatre and Dance Production Endowment. To donate to the Arts at Bucknell please go to www.bucknell.edu/giving.
