  • Responsible for supervision of the professional staff, programs, and budgets for campus activities, community health promotion, housing and residential life, fraternity and sorority affairs, judicial affairs, leadership programs, new student orientation, student health services and volunteer services.

At Bucknell, most students have a fair amount of contact with the Deans of Students, who handle general questions regarding University policies and procedures. The Deans also serve as an entry point and clearinghouse for student concerns and resources, advocate for student issues, maintain disciplinary and other non-academic records, administer emergency student loan funds, and serve as liaisons with the local community. Dean Lantz supervises and coordinates nearly all student service and student life programs and functions, including Campus Activities and Programs, Housing Services, Fraternity and Sorority Affairs, Psychological Services, and Student Health.
