The Bucknell University Black Student Union is a principal body of organizations whose mission is to cultivate a space for those students whose cultural backgrounds and perspectives are representative of the Black Diaspora.
Our organization goals are neither segregated nor separate from the goals of a progressive and relevant liberal arts college. We aim to enhance diversity in all its forms and to bring our campus community closer together through the execution of our annual events and programs.
Despite the fact that our focus is on the Black Diaspora, anyone may join the Black Student Union regardless of their race, gender, social class, political affiliation, or religion.
The people of the Black Diaspora are a diverse group filled with many cultures, perspectives, and ways of life. We believe that each individual at our University has the ability to contribute to our mission in his/her own unique way!
