The French and Francophone studies program uses an on-line placement exam designed to match your language skills to the appropriate French course. We strongly recommend that all students who have had French in high school take the exam whether or not they are considering taking French in their first semester. Remember, no matter what field you are in, there are many study abroad and internship opportunities in France as well as in the Francophone world.

During Orientation in August there will be an information session about the French and Francophone studies program. We look forward to meeting you there.
