LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will offer a Businesswomen's Roundtable: "Marketing for Women," 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 29 in the Slifer Room at Country Cupboard Restaurant, 101 Hafer Road, Lewisburg.

Rhonda Campbell, founder and owner of Jarhon Communications in New Bloomfield, and Pat Hess, owner of Colonial Candlecrafters in Lewisburg, will lead the workshop. They will address topics such as "the myth of money for marketing," common obstacles to promoting businesses and the "secret weapon that gives women a marketing advantage."

"You don't have to spend a lot of money or even an extraordinary amount of time focused on marketing to get results," said Campbell, who has more than 25 years' experience in training, coaching and management. "Too many small business owners view marketing as a complex, time intensive activity that requires specialized knowledge. By making the most of existing contacts and clients, making the most of every interaction and making the most of your expertise, you can become adept at marketing."

Women business owners and managers who are interested in learning ways to maximize relationships to market their businesses are encouraged to attend, but the event is open to the public.

Registration required
The cost to attend is $20, including lunch and a year's subscription to both Inc. and Susquehanna Business Life magazines. Registration is required, and seating is limited.
