LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Bucknell University will offer the workshop, "Emotional Intelligence," Thursday, March 24, from 9 a.m. to noon in the SBDC Education Center, Room 207, of the Chamberlin Building on Fifth Street in Lewisburg.
Rhonda Campbell, founder and owner of Jarhon Communications in New Bloomfield, will lead the workshop, discussing what emotional intelligence is and why it matters; the five elements of emotional intelligence; how to identify emotional intelligence strengths and weaknesses; and strategies to improve emotional intelligence.
Campbell, who has more than 25 years of communication experience in training, coaching and management, will lead other workshops through the coming year including "Marketing and Networking Strategies for Small Businesses" on May 5; "Getting Employees to do What you Want" on Sept. 8; and "Understanding, Working With and Managing Different Generations" on Oct. 13.
