LEWISBURG, Pa. — Business consultant David Burns will offer the seminar, "How to Deal with Difficult People," on Wednesday, Nov. 2, from 9 a.m. to noon at the SBDC Business Education Center, Room 207, Chamberlin Building, in Lewisburg.
A business trainer, speaker and consultant to organizations ranging in size from micro-businesses to Fortune 500 firms, Burns has a degree in education, advanced degrees in multiple martial arts and hands-on experience from running his own business since 1980.
Burns says, "Regardless of where you work or what you do, you work with other people. Fortunately, most of them are easy to get along with. A small minority, however, often take up a majority of our valuable time and energy.
"In this seminar, you will learn productive ways of improving rapport and getting things done, even in the most frustrating and difficult situations. In four information-packed modules you'll learn practical concepts and tactics you can use right away," he said.
Registration is required as seating is limited. The registration fee is $35. Veterans are welcome to attend at no cost. To register, call the SBDC at 570-577-1249; e-mail SBDC@bucknell.edu, or visit www.bucknell.edu/script/sbdc/register.asp
