If you want to be on the inside track of Bucknell University, then BOF is for you. This pre-orientation program is designed to introduce participants to opportunities for leadership and community service at Bucknell. Open to 56 highly motivated first-year students, the four-day action-packed sessions offer teambuilding activities and community service projects around the Lewisburg community and on campus.

Buckwild is the Bucknell Wilderness Experience, a dynamic outdoor pre-orientation program held in central Pennsylvania surrounding Lewisburg and Bucknell. Participating in BuckWild is a great way to meet your new classmates and learn more about yourself.

Need a Ride?


There are two Ride Board options:

  1. The physical Ride Board is located on the ground level of the Elaine Langone Center, just outside the student post office.
  2. Many student use the Message Center in myBucknell to look for ride sharing opportunities. Log in myBucknell and enter the Message Center to post a message about a ride or to check what ride sharing opportunities are currently available.

Student Lectureship Committee

Our Student Lectureship Committee is comprised of fifteen students. Each year, these students plan and promote anywhere from one to two lectures for students, faculty, staff, and the community.
