Alternative Break Fair 2014

Two sessions available: Noon - 1 p.m. or 4 -6 p.m.

The best place to learn about upcoming programs that involve experiential learning and service for Bucknell students and staff.

Students and staff at Bucknell are encouraged to volunteer and engage in community service work. Alternative break trips offer opportunities for significant learning as well as the chance to work with other in addressing community needs.


The Bucknell Brigade

Since 1999 Bucknell university has been involved in a unique partnership with a resettlement community outside the capital city of Managua, Nicaragua.  Students travel twice a year as part of a year long service project. || Learn more about the Bucknell Brigade.

 The Katrina Recovery Team

Since 2006 Bucknell volunteers have traveled to the Gulf Coast region twice a year to help those who lost so much to the destructive power of Hurricanes Katrina and Rita. || Learn more about KRT.
