And in the Arts Residential College, you can live and learn with other first-year students who are just as artsy as you are.
West Branch Wired is a distinct extension of our thrice annual print magazine. Issues are released in October, February, and June of each year, slightly in advance of the corresponding print issues. Poetry, fiction, and creative nonfiction are exclusive toWBW. Book reviews and columns run in both WBW and the print magazine.
An art deco icon of Lewisburg, the Campus Theatre has been showing films since 1941. There you can see first-run, art-house, documentary and classic films while enjoying the old-timey feel and relaxing in one of the couches that you can reserve before a show. Film screenings for Film/Media studies students are scheduled weekly in the Campus Theatre during the semester.
The Bucknell Dance Company stages two yearly performances in a variety of styles, presenting the creative research of the dance faculty, the work of professional guest artists, and selected student choreographers. These concerts are produced with lighting, set, and costume designs by the professional faculty and staff in the department.

The Film/Media Production Clinic (FMPC) provides students with real-world opportunities to produce broadcast-quality content for non-profit organizations. Every year, the clinic solicits applications from non-profits with media needs. Selected projects are then partnered with a class that works with the non-profit to visualize and produce a polished, high-impact media production.
The Griot Institute for Africana Studies provides faculty and student intellectual and creative engagement with the interdisciplinary investigation of the cultures, histories, narratives, peoples, geographies and arts of Africa and the African diaspora.
Bucknell offers a variety of housing options for students who want more than the typical dorm experience. Students can unite around a common theme, get to know their professors and peers, receive mentorship from faculty and upper-class students, and learn how to be leaders in an intellectually stimulating setting.
