Multicultural Student Services

As an integral part of the university community, the Office of Multicultural Student Services (MSS) provides advocacy, mentorship and support for students from historically underrepresented populations and cultural leadership opportunities for all Bucknell students. Part of the MSS mission is to assist the institution in creating and maintaining a campus climate that recognizes, appreciates, celebrates and shares a mutual understanding and respect for all cultures. Multicultural Student Services plans and implements educational programs to promote awareness and to provide opportunities for cross-cultural interaction and exchange. In addition, the MSS office is prepared to collaborate with different departments, offices and student groups to assist in cultural competency and diversity training, interracial dialogue and other interracial and intercultural issues or concerns.
