Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society

In Fall 2011, the Department of History has established a Phi Alpha Theta National History Honor Society Chapter and become a recognized Bucknell Student Government (BSG) organization.

The mission of Phi Alpha Theta is to "promote the study of history through the encouragement of research, good teaching, publication and the exchange of learning and ideas among historians."  Students are contacted in the spring semester if they are determined to be a candidate for the Phi Alpha Theta History Honor Society.
