Office of the Provost

The Office of the Provost oversees the policies and procedures of the University’s academic mission. It is guided in this task by Bucknell’s Mission Statement and strategic plan – The Plan for Bucknell. These documents establish the direction of Bucknell’s academic programs and educational priorities, enabling Bucknell to serve its students with strong, integrated, and challenging curricula, and with a highly qualified and dedicated faculty of teacher-scholars.

The members of the Bucknell faculty are committed to excellence in teaching and a high level of scholarship. Synergy between faculty and students in an environment rich in curricula and outstanding educational support results in one of the best liberal arts educations in the nation.
