Residential Colleges: get connected

The Residential Colleges are themed living-learning communities for first-year students. Students who have participated in them say they have been among the best experiences of their Bucknell education.

It doesn't matter what you plan to major in.
Whether you want to be an engineer, an artist, a business leader, a writer, a physician - or anything else - you can sign up to join whichever Residential College interests you.

No extra course required.
You'll sign up for a first-semester Foundation Seminar just like every first-year student in the College of Arts and Sciences does - but you'll get to choose one that's specifically tied to the Residential Colleges. Engineers can sign up for the Residential Colleges too.

Here's how to sign up.
You'll be able to registerfor a Residential College in mid May, when you select your courses for the first semester. Select the Foundation Seminars coded RESC that interest you. You'll enter your preferred choices in our online portal, and we'll assign you to a hall with students who are part of the same Residential College.
