Service Opportunities

- Community Harvest set ups each Monday from 2:00-4:00 p.m. Community Harvest is in Milton PA at St. Andrew's Church (102 Lower Market Street). Please contact Lynn directly if interested or have questions at lcp008@bucknell.edu

- Unitaritan Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley is soliciting funds and needs volunteers to help with manual labor on May 25th in areas affected by Hurricane Sandy on Staten Island.

Unitaritan Universalist Congregation of the Susquehanna Valley working with UU Church of Staten Island to raise funds to build showers for the visiting relief workers, and to help fund a part-time volunteer coordinator at El Centro del Inmigrantes. People can donate money on line with PayPal or credit cards on FaceBook: http://www.facebook.com/LoveFlowsfromourheartstoyours, or checks can be made out to UUCSV (with Love Flows on the memo line) and sent to 265 A Point Township Drive, Northumberland PA 17857.

Philanthropy Opportunities

- Help with our new Snack Pack program! The Backpack Program is a nation wide initiative to "beat" food insecurity in children.  They have developed programs for the school week, after school, and summer programs to ensure that children are receiving at least one healthy meal each day. Our brochure outlines the ways in which you can help.
