Division of Student Affairs
Welcome to Bucknell University’s division of Student Affairs. The different departments within our division are collectively committed to assisting students achieve academic success and developmental growth during their years on campus. We assist students in achieving personal goals both inside and outside the classroom. As a division of the Office of the Provost, we strongly value the integration of academic and student life.
As indicated in the university mission statement, “Bucknell fosters a residential, co-curricular environment in which students develop intellectual maturity, personal conviction and strength of character, informed by a deep understanding of different cultures and diverse perspectives.” The departments within Student Affairs, the staff, and our programs are created to helping students fulfill the goals of our mission by extending the learning environment beyond the traditional classroom. Our initiatives are centered around Bucknell’s Education Goals and we regularly assess the development of our students in these areas.
From responding to students in crisis, providing advocacy to student groups, and teaching skills to assist students develop as leaders, members of the Division of Student Affairs connect with students each and every day.
