The Teaching and Learning Center

Bucknell is committed to excellence in teaching and support for student learning, and the Teaching and Learning Center is here to help.

For faculty

We sponsor workshops and programs on teaching methods and practices, including programs specifically designed for new faculty. We also provide mentoring services, conduct and facilitate personal teaching consultations, maintain a teaching exchange program, support faculty discussion groups related to teaching, and gather and provide resources and materials related to teaching at Bucknell.

For students

Our new program in student learning support will be maintaining the tutoring program for introductory math and science courses. We are piloting a study group program with trained peer facilitators in the spring of 2013 that we hope to expand in future semesters.  Additionally, workshops, classroom support and individual consultations can be made available upon request.
