McCallum to edit Spring/Summer 2010 Issue. Stadler Center for Poetry Director Shara McCallum will stand in as guest editor for West Branch 66, Spring/Summer 2010, while Editor Paula Closson Buck is teaching abroad. The reading period for McCallum's issue is August 15-November 30, 2009.

Interview with Dorothy Barresi. Spring 2009 undergraduate interns Mary Hood and Janine Hauber interviewed Dorothy Barresi, whose work appeared most recently in West Branch 62, Spring/Summer 2008.

New Book by Contributing Editor. Sarah Kennedy, regular poetry reviewer for West Branch, has published her sixth collection of poetry, Home Remedies (Louisiana State University Press). Read more here.

READING PERIOD CLOSED. Our 2008-09 reading period closed on April 15. Our 2009-10 reading period will open on August 15. We wish you a happy and productive summer.

Postal submissions no longer accepted. Beginning April 15, 2009 with the close of our current reading period, West Branch will no longer accept paper submissions. All submissions for the next reading period, which opens on August 15, should be submitted via the Online Submission Manager.

West Branch 64, Spring/Summer2009 will be available in print in early April.
