The Writing Program

At Bucknell, writing instruction takes place in writing-intensive courses offered at all levels in all disciplines. W1 courses offer a general introduction to college writing, while W2 courses allow students to practice rhetorical conventions in particular disciplines. All Bucknell undergraduate students must successfully complete one W1 course and two W2 courses before graduating. (learn more)

The Writing Center

Established to support Bucknell's Writing Across the Curriculum Program, the Writing Center encourages writing as a process of creating and communicating knowledge and seeks to generate active learning, primarily by facilitating talk among thoughtful and supportive fellow writers. (learn more)

Bucknell Writes

"Everybody at Bucknell writes--students, faculty, staff, bio majors, engineers, historians, poets, chemists. Alumni write, too. All kinds of writing matter here." (view blog)
