The Bucknell Wilderness Experience known as BuckWild is a dynamic outdoor pre-orientation program held in Central Pennsylvania surrounding Lewisburg and Bucknell during the week leading up to New Student Orientation. Participating in BuckWild is a great way to face the challenges of transitioning into the university. You will meet your new classmates, learn more about yourself, build relationships from upper class peer mentors, and have a whole lot of fun! We have several trip options to choose from including backpacking, rock climbing, caving, paddling and more! See trip details above. This activity is sponsored by the Office of Outdoor Education and Leadership and is an optional program.
