Fall 2014: Meat, Microbes and Medicine: Food, Medical Policy and Technolgy in London, the UK and Europe
This Program is open to all Bucknell students. This program will be particularly attractive to chemical engineering and economics students in addition to liberal arts and sciences students in sociology, English, history, philosophy, political science, theatre, art and environmental science, but may also accommodate the goals of students enrolled in BS programs, such as management and education.
In and beyond the great classroom of London:
- Examine how the British think about food and medical care and biotechnology differently.
- Travel throughout Britain on excursions tailored to your courses and your personal interests, and make a journey to the Netherlands.
- Explore museums and sites to understand Britain's culture and history.
- Enjoy British theater, architecture and food.
