Summer study abroad provides students with the opportunity to study outside the constraints of the typical academic year, while also providing students with the freedom to choose programs across a myriad of academic disciplines and varying program lengths.

Bucknell University offers students two types of summer study abroad options:

Bucknell "in" Summer Programs:

Faculty-led programs directed and taught by Bucknell University faculty. Each program typically runs in the early summer lasting three to four weeks in duration.

Provider Programs:

Programs established and run independently through various third party provider networks. The various program providers typically offer a range of programs in various academic disciplines around the world.
