Bucknell Summer Storage Options - 2011
Housing Services Storage
Housing Services provides storage free of charge to those students who live more than a 300 mile radius from the Bucknell University Campus. Storage is in the attic of Kress Hall.
Items for storage must be boxed, clearly labeled (students full name and home address) and fit within a 3 ft. x 3 ft. space. Due to the extreme heat in the attic, Housing Services will not accept storage the following items: stereo equipment, computers, refrigerators, cameras, carpet, furniture, lofts, or other large items, or items of high value. Students need to understand that Bucknell University cannot accept responsibility for the loss of, or damage to, personal property stored at Bucknell. Students are encouraged to confirm that their items are covered under their own or family's insurance. Please watch for signs posted in your hall in April/May regarding the hours the attic will be open. Also, please know that in August when you return to BU, the attic is only accessible during certain hours based on the availability of the students that assist us and their schedules. Again, these hours will be posted in August.
Because of our limitations on storage, we usually provide the names and numbers of four local storage places in Lewisburg. Each is equally in distance from Bucknell. Bucknell is not associated with any of these businesses in any way; we want to provide an alternative you may want to consider.

International/Overseas Student Storage
If you live overseas, you can store items that can't be stored in Kress Attic. Items cannot be any bigger than a small refrigerator, so please no furniture or lofts, as we don't have space to accommodate them.
Vedder storage is for heat sensitive equipment only (microwaves, refrigerators, stereos, etc.) and only for students who live overseas. Each item must be clearly marked with your name and email address.
Electronics will be stored in Vedder only during the summer months. You can drop off your belongings during regular office hours (8:30am-4:30pm) during finals week and/or we can arrange a separate time for you to drop them off. Please call ISS at x73794 if you need to make arrangements. You will be required to fill out a form listing your items and contact information before you leave them.
You can retrieve your belonging(s) during a designated time when you return in August. Please check your email to find out about pick up times.
Please understand that International Student Services is not responsible for any lost, stolen, or damaged items.
