Rachel Redmond is the Assistant Director of Alumni Career Services. She comes to Bucknell with background in both personal and career counseling. Rachel's work focuses on assisting people explore options and make career decisions that speak to their personal and professional goals.
Prior to coming to Bucknell, Rachel worked in academia as a career advisor and student life coordinator at Lycoming College. In addition, Rachel has experience as a telephonic counselor with an international employee assistance program. She is a National Certified Counselor (NCC) and has an M.S. in Mental Health Counseling from the University of Rochester and a B.S. from St. Lawrence University.
As Assistant Director of Alumni Career Services, Rachel works with Bucknell alumni to launch their careers and provides assistance with the job search process, networking and career decision-making. Rachel also coordinates the "Life After Bucknell" series that prepares senior students for all that comes after university life. The program educates seniors on topics like fine dining etiquette, budgeting and managing your finances, professional networking, and understanding healthcare options.
