During construction, more than 93% of construction waste was diverted from disposal in landfills. Recyclable resources were redirected back to the manufacturing process.
A construction waste plan formulated prior to construction identified waste items which would be separated and diverted from landfills or recycled. Asphalt and concrete were separated and diverted, and other recyclable waste was monitored and co-mingled in designated dumpsters during construction.
