The Russian Club

The Bucknell Russian Club (Russky kruzhok) is a student run extra-curricular activity whose goal is to further interest in Russia among students at Bucknell while providing outside-class experiences for anyone interested in Russia or Russian.

We meet several times a month and alternate between watching films, cooking borscht, playing Russian card games, sharing stories about travels/life in Russia, and watching various clips pertaining to Russian culture. Additionally, we take trips to see Russian arts in cities such as New York in DC. All are welcome.

The Russian Table

Russian Table is a weekly opportunity to speak Russian informally over lunch without the pressures of grades. The day of the week varies, but we typically meet on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Russian teaching assistant always attends the Table but with no planned agenda. Students may talk about whatever they want: the only rule is that we speak Russian.
