My passion is ...
engineering and education. I want to help people who want to help the world.”

I came to Bucknell because I wanted to be a part of a community that values students, learning, and engineering. I found that at Bucknell. The faculty, staff, and students all share a vision of learning that I continually want to be a part of. Whether it is in or out of the classroom, I am committed to helping our students pursue their passion and help change the world.

I seek to integrate teaching and research in my work. When possible I teach courses that overlap with my research areas and I pursues some level of research in the topic areas of courses that I typically teach. Engineering design is a major component of the undergraduate engineering experience so I include multiple aspects of design via projects and open-ended assignments in all of my courses. Finally, I strongly believe in the benefits of undergraduate research and pursue research projects that fit the interest and abilities of my students.
