Because of the broad background Bucknell civil and environmental engineering majors receive, they are highly sought by both graduate schools and employers and pursue careers in consulting, construction, government and more.

Class of 2017

Our first class of environmental engineering majors will graduate in 2017. The Department of Civil & Environmental Engineering has offered courses in environmental engineering for many years, and this new degree option welcomed its inaugural class in 2013.

According the U.S. Department of Labor, the field of environmental engineering is projected to grow at a 22% rate between 2010 and 2020.
