The French and Francophone Studies program uses an on-line placement exam designed to match your language skills to the appropriate French course. We strongly recommend that all students who have had French in high school take the exam whether or not they are considering taking French in their first semester. Remember, no matter what field you are in, there are many study abroad and internship opportunities in France as well as in the Francophone world.
Admitted students should complete the placement exam via myBucknell.
Currently enrolled students may access the placement exam via this link.
This quick and painless placement exam should not take more than 15 minutes of your time. For the password, please enter bison1. Your date of birth will serve as the ID number.
If you have problems accessing the on-line placement exam, please send an email to Academic Assistant Pamela Glass (firstname.lastname@example.org).
During Orientation in August there will be an information session about the French and Francophone Studies Program. We look forward to meeting you then.
