Resources for Staff and faculty
Library and Information Technology strongly recommends that students back up their personal data on an external hard drive. Bucknell staff and faculty should have a back up plan for both their home personal computer and their work computer.
Both students and staff can use a variety of methods to back up their important or personal files. Netspace, flash drives, DVDs, and external hard drives all provide various options and possibilities for back up.
The Tech Desk does not recover and restore data for student computers checked in at the desk. You are responsible for backing up your own documents, music, photos, etc. Tech support no longer maintains a backup system for staff and faculty for their work computers.
