LogosBucknell's Wellness Initiative for faculty and staff is a suite of tools and resources you can use to become your happiest and reach your full potential — however you wish to define it for yourself.

Get tips on healthy eating. Find out how to meet your financial goals. Learn how to reduce stress and anxiety. Get moving. Explore Personal Enrichment Week. Find out when wellness and recreational events are happening on or near campus. And become a better you. Plus you'll earn cash rewards for participating.

Here's how to start:

You have to know where you are today to be able to set goals for tomorrow.

  1. Register or access your wellness portal
Your wellness portal is a secure and private online tool where you can set goals, track your progress, access online wellness resources and assess your health risks. When you register, you must use your Bucknell username. You may choose any password.
  2. Complete your personal health assessment
This confidential online questionnaire creates an individualized health report for you, indicating your healthy behaviors and showing you where you may want to improve. Only you and your wellness coach (see below) can see your results. It takes about 20 minutes to complete. || Learn more
  3. Schedule a biometric screening
We periodically offer on-campus, voluntary biometric screenings to faculty and staff at no cost so that you can know more about your physical health as you plan your wellness goals. The screening measures cholesterol levels, blood pressure and blood glucose levels and usually includes a measurement of height, weight and body mass index. Entering this information into the wellness portal will provide you with a clearer view of your health status. Register for an on-campus screening by selecting your desired session on the calendar in the wellness portal.
  4. Work with a wellness coach
When you complete your health assessment, you'll automatically opt in to have a wellness coach. This staff member from Evangelical Community Hospital will help you set attainable wellness goals and help you develop a plan to succeed -- at no cost to you. You have control over whether any of your personally identifiable information will be shared with a wellness coach. || Learn more
