Foreign Language Study at Bucknell: A Sound Investment
There are so many reasons to study a foreign language: because you love the sound of the language, you love the art and literature of a particular culture, or you want to work in another country and be a part of the community. Enjoy delicious international food, learn about sustainability practices at Bucknell and find out more about your classmates' backgrounds and experiences.

Students will be directed to various locations by their Orientation Assistant.
As the newest members of Bucknell, the Class of 2018 has joined a community dedicated to excellence, leadership, creativity, diversity and integrity. This session provides an opportunity to discuss what it means to be a Bucknellian with faculty, staff and upperclass students.

8:15 - 9:15 p.m.
Residence Hall Meetings with Resident Adviser and Junior Fellows - Part II

This meeting is required for all first-year students.

Old Bison Street Festival

Experience the atmosphere of a street festival on campus, with live music and festival snacks.

9:30 - 11:30 p.m.
Come to the Craft Center and discover all the creative resources available to you. Choose from a selection of projects that will help make your residence hall room
feel more like a home. Personalize mirrors, frames and waste paper cans. All projects are free.

11 p.m. - 1 a.m.
Pancakes and Eggs Late-night Breakfast
Bostwick Dining Hall, Elaine Langone Center
Your OAs are cooking delicious late-night chocolate chip pancakes and hearty omelets for you.

Midnight - 2 a.m.
Midnight Madness at Walmart
Get all of your shopping done at midnight. Buses leave at midnight from the Smith Hall parking lot and in front of the Weis Center.
