Hello members of Bucknell's Class of 2019! My name is Nicholas Bilcheck and I am an electrical engineering major. I am currently interning at Geisinger, a local hospital, and I have taken part in many different intramural and club activities in my first year on campus. I am so excited to be your BOF counselor because this program was a huge help in welcoming me to the Bucknell community and allowed me to make so many friends before most first years had even moved in. I cannot wait to relive BOF again and have an amazing experience with you all.

Hey guys. I am sure you are all super pumped to get started with your first semester of college. However, it can sometimes be a nerve wracking experience. Building on Foundations eased that transition ten-fold. It was the number one best thing I could have done to get my foot in the door at Bucknell and meet some awesome friends. On campus, I am a member of both the club tennis and club volleyball teams, as well as a part of DiscipleMakers Christian Fellowship. I am so excited to be one of your BOF counselors this year. It is an amazing experience that taught me so many life lessons. I can't wait to meet you all in August.

Greetings Class of 2019! I'm Sean Hooper, one of two co-coordinators of the legendary Building on Foundations pre-orientation program.  I live about 45 minutes outside of Philadelphia, and I'm currently in my junior year studying mechanical engineering here at Bucknell.  Besides BOF, I'm a member of Greek life and a teaching assistant.  This upcoming BOF program will be my fourth and final time around, and it has consistently been a highlight of my years here at Bucknell.  BOF has helped me grow more every year that I have had the pleasure of participating in it.  I encourage all incoming first-year students to apply - you will not be disappointed!

Hey there class of 2019! Congrats on your acceptance to Bucknell University! My name is Meg Mullin and I am really excited to be the Co-Coordinator of the Building of Foundations pre-orientation program. On campus I am quite involved in the dance program and am a rower on the Varsity Women's Rowing Team, I will also be spending much of the coming school year traveling the world. Coming in to my first year at Bucknell, I was beyond nervous about making friends, the BOF program offered me a platform to meet a wide range of people and really get a solid group of friends before orientation even started. I loved BOF so much I applied to be counselor and help create the same feeling of acceptance for the next group of BOFers. I really wanted to make sure the program was at its best for your class of 2019 so I again applied to be co-coordinator and I am so excited for the BOF adventures that are to come.

Welcome to Bucknell Class of 2019!!! I'm super excited to be your BOF counselors this upcoming August! BOF was probably the best decision I possibly could have made coming into Bucknell: it taught me a lot about myself, service, being a leader, and I made a ton of really close friendships that I know will last. So get PUMPED because you are about to have one of the best experiences of your life!!!! As for me, I'm a resident of Dallas.... Pennsylvania, and I'm an undeclared (actually clueless)  major in the College of Arts and Sciences. On campus I am the Vice-President of the Class of 2018 through Bucknell Student Government, a member of the BSG finance committee, and also a member of Beyond Unison co-ed acappella group. Can't wait to meet you all in the fall, and if you have any questions feel free to reach out, I'd love to talk! Oh, and YEAH BOF!

Congrats on your acceptance to Bucknell, class of 2019! My name is Kelly Pretz and will be a Building on Foundations counselor for the fall and I cannot wait! I’m from Brielle, New Jersey, which is right on the shore (but I promise we aren’t all orange like everyone thinks). Here at Bucknell, I am a member of We Brake for Nobody (Bucknell’s only improv-comedy group), the Gamelan ensemble, and the dance program. There aren’t enough words to describe how much I loved doing BOF. It not only taught me how to improve myself as a leader but also allowed me to enter my freshman year with 30 new and amazing friends. I am thrilled to meet you all and teach you all the BOF dance! YEAH BOF!

Class of 2019... What's up?!?! If you're reading this, you're probably about to make one of the best decisions of your Bucknell career...applying to BOF! I am ecstatic to be one of your Building on Foundations counselors this fall. I live about 15 minutes from Scranton, PA (yes where The Office was set) and sadly that is my only claim to fame. I have a passion for sports in general, especially baseball/softball and teach pre-school during my summers at home. Choosing to do BOF was one of the best decisions of my freshman year, I walked into orientation with 30 great friends, some of them even becoming my best friends on campus. BOF truly helped me become a leader on campus even as a freshman. I am so excited to meet you all and embark on BOF 2015!

Hey Class of 2019, welcome to Bucknell University!! My name is Karen Somasundaram and I am so excited to be a Building on Foundations counselor for this upcoming fall! I'm from Germantown, Maryland and I'm also a Posse scholar, part of Bucknell Student Government, and a volunteer tutor. I can honestly rank choosing to do BOF as one of the best decisions I have ever made. I absolutely adored the program and the opportunities it gave me - but the best part was all the genuine friendships I made before even setting foot on campus with people that have turned into my best friends! I can't wait to meet you, and I know this year's BOF program will be amazing! Yeah BOF!!
