Congrats Class of 2018! I'm Abby Heffern and I'm so excited to be one of your BOF counselors this year! I'm currently undeclared have been competitively horseback riding for 14 years. BOF was the best experience I could have asked for coming into my first year of college, and I am so thankful for the community and opportunities that it provided me with. YEAH BOF!
Madeline Kling (Mads)
Hometown: Hackettstown, NJ (home of the M&Ms) Major: Music and Psychology
My name is Maddie and I am double majoring in Music and Psychology with a minor in Education. BOF creates a family and gives you a head-start on meeting loads of incredible people while opening doors to the endless opportunities that Bucknell has to offer! After learning about all of the activities and talking to my counselors during BOF, I was very eager to dive into the community so I decided to try a little bit of everything (Bucknell Student Government, part of the Public Affairs committee; am a member of Rooke Chapel Choir, Beyond Unison (one of 3 co-ed a cappella groups on campus), and caller at the Student Calling Office). I guarantee that you will not regret applying! YEAH BOF!!

At Bucknell, I am an alumnus of the Discovery Residential College and a CLIMBucknell facilitator, trained in running Bucknell's rock wall and high/low ropes courses. Hey there class of 2018 congrats on your acceptance to Bucknell University! My name is Megan Mullin and I am super excited to be a Building on Foundations counselor this coming fall. I am originally from 20 miles north of Boston before embarking on my journey to Lewisburg where I am a member of the women's rowing team and a part of the dance program. Choosing to do BOF was definitely one of the best decisions of my freshman year, it taught me how to be a leader, recognize differences and it gave me confidence going into orientation knowing that I had a group of about fifty friends already backing me up. I can't wait to meet you all and am super excited for the coming BOF program!
