Following the receipt of the Department of Justice grant, the University created a Campus-Community Response Team to achieve greater coordination and communication among response services for sexual assault, dating violence, and stalking. This team is comprised of internal and external constituents.
The Response Team began meeting in November 2012 and is scheduled to meet on a monthly basis and as needed when special issues arise. The purpose of these meetings is to promote positive, proactive communication, coordination of services, cross-training, and awareness of the issues impacting our individual organizations, as well as provide the opportunity to debrief confidentially and appropriately following incidences of sexual and dating violence for continual evaluation of our collective response and service delivery.
