In June, 2011 Bucknell joined 31 other colleges and universities from across the country to form the National College Health Improvement Project (NCHIP) Learning Collaborative on High-Risk Drinking.
The unprecedented initiative is using comprehensive evaluation and measurement techniques to identify and implement the most effective ways to tackle high risk drinking, a persistent problem that affects nearly 4 out of 10 college students in American.
Bucknell recognizes the importance of alcohol education and reducing high-risk drinking. That is why Bucknell has committed to making the collaborative effort a permanent part of campus.
The Bucknell Collaborative on High-Risk Drinking is committed to the reduction of high risk drinking through education, policy evaluation, assessment, and other initiatives in order to ensure a healthy Bucknell student experience and a rich residential environment.
