8:00 PM to 10:00 PM - Elaine Langone Center 256 - Center Room It’s a buyer’s market in the wine industry. Wine quality and wine prices have never been better. In this introduction to wine appreciation, you will learn about the language and techniques of wine tasting and enjoy varietal wines from various wine-making regions of California. You will learn how to read a wine label and gather consumer tips for making your next wine purchase.***The FINE PRINT: Sign-ups @ NOON on Feruary 9th in the CAP Center (LC 47—across from the Bison). Given the nature of this event, spots are available to the first 50 students and 10 faculty/staff. Sorry we are unable to take any sign-ups via email or phone; you must sign-up in person. Individuals may sign up one other person, but must have their BUID. Please bring ID to verify age (must be 21 or older to attend). Wine tastings are presented by Professor Gary Grant. Business casual attire is appreciated and you are encouraged to arrive 10 minutes early.
