Looking for something not in the Guide? Call us. Our creative and highly skilled culinary team can create any menu, making your event a unique dining experience.

General Policies

In order to plan and schedule properly, THE CATERING OFFICE MUST BE NOTIFIED A MINIMUM OF ONE WEEK BEFORE YOUR EVENT. If contact is less than one week, every attempt will be made to satisfy your needs for the event, but menu selection or any special requests cannot be guaranteed. If an event is booked one business day or less prior to your event, an additional 15% will be added to the price and menu selections may be limited.

Please call to plan the food and service to fit the particular event. Be sure to include allergy or dietary restrictions and other special needs (special linens, flowers, room configurations) to allow adequate time for planning and preparation.

Please contact us by phone for urgent orders requiring less than 72 hours notice. For all Monday orders, please submit your event sheet by the previous Wednesday.

University Events

Please make sure that your event is registered with the Events Management Office prior to submitting your Catering Event Sheet. (Unless your event is being held in your private office.)

University department and student organizations are required to coordinate their on-campus catering needs with Dining Services. See the Policies & Guidelines section (pdf) of the Catering Guide for additional details.

Non-University Events

Room reservations need to be made before contacting Dining Services. Room reservations, audio-visual equipment, and table set-up needs are handled through the Events Management Office at 570.577.3095. All Non-university events using Bucknell facilities must use Dining Services for their catering needs.

Weddings

Whether it is a simple but elegant served dinner, a magnificent buffet, or a delectable array of scrumptious hors d'oeuvres, we are delighted to provide all of your dining needs.

In the Catering Guide (pdf) you will find suggested planning guidelines and a selection of menu ideas. The menus are merely a mélange of ideas put together for your convenience by our certified executive chef. We will be happy to develop customized menus and services to fit your specific needs. All events are serviced with white table linens, our gold-rimmed presidential china and silver, and presented by our experienced wait staff.
