Center for Sustainability & the Environment
The Bucknell Center for Sustainability & the Environment (BCSE) provides a highly visible venue for environmental scholarship and activism. It draws from many programs, including biology, English, chemical engineering, geology and management. The Film/Media Production Clinic (FMPC) provides students with real-world opportunities to produce broadcast-quality content for non-profit organizations. This hands-on experience benefits the growing number of students who major in the University's Film & Media Studies concentration, offered in tandem with the Department of English.
The Griot Institute for Africana Studies focuses on faculty and student intellectual and creative engagement with the interdisciplinary investigation of the cultures, histories, narratives, peoples, geographies and arts of Africa and the Africa diaspora.

The Bucknell Institute for Public Policy (BIPP) builds programs with strong research and teaching within both international and domestic policy fields, combining theoretical and empirical research with practical applications.
The Bucknell University Small Business Development Center (SBDC) helps businesses start, grow and prosper by providing entrepreneurs with the education, information and tools necessary to build successful businesses.
The Stadler Center for Poetry is a professional literary center offering a wide range of programs and residencies for emerging and established poets and writers. It sponsors workshops and programs, provides resources, mentoring and individual consultations, maintains a teaching exchange program and supports faculty discussion groups. TLC's Student Learning Support programs help students maximize their academic success through individual consultations, workshops and tutoring, including in math and science.
Established to support Bucknell's Writing Across the Curriculum Program, the Writing Center encourages writing as a process of creating and communicating knowledge and seeks to generate active learning, primarily by facilitating talk among thoughtful and supportive fellow writers.
