Twenty-one new tenure-track professors have joined the Bucknell faculty, bringing with them expertise in subjects that include the movement of lampreys, the safety of e-cigarettes, the significance of Jewish literature and the applications of feminist theory.

"Our new, very accomplished faculty bring a surge of intellectual energy to the campus," said Provost Barbara Altmann. "They keep our teaching, our scholarship and our artistic production fresh and on the forefront of all the disciplines we cover. In all their diversity, they enrich our community in every way."
