LEWISBURG, Pa. — The Bucknell Institute for Lifelong Learning will host a "Tea & Talk" event on March 13.
Paula Davis, associate professor of theatre and dance at Bucknell University, will present, "In Search of Balkan Folk Dress: Revealing Identities," at 3:30 p.m. The program is free and open to the public; no registration is necessary. Doors open at 3 p.m. Tea and regional refreshments will be served.
Davis will explore how costume engenders identity, the dynamics of that identity, and what the costume might signify to the wearer. Her research was conducted over five years at folk festivals in Bulgaria, Croatia, Hungary, Macedonia, Romania and Serbia.
The "Tea & Talk" event is part of a series of informal programs presented in partnership with Buffalo Valley Lutheran Village and held in The Village Common on Tressler Boulevard in Lewisburg.

Janet Jones, Presidential Professor of classics at Bucknell, will give the talk, "Alexander the Great and the Seven Wonders of the World."
