Preview Session

Bucknell's group information session is conducted by one of our admissions counselors, and is a great opportunity for parents and prospective students to learn about the application process, financial aid, Bucknell facts and statistics, and academic life.

Please note that the Preview Session includes a campus tour. To fully experience Bucknell, families who opt to participate in the Preview Session should plan to spend at least two hours on campus.

Campus Tour

Taking a tour of campus is a great way to experience the beauty of Bucknell.

Student guides conduct the tour, and they can answer your questions about life at Bucknell. The tour concentrates on the student perspective of campus, including academics, extracurricular activities, and Bucknell's rich social life.

To Schedule: No appointment is necessary to join a campus tour.

Lunch Visit

Only on campus for a few hours?

Be our guest for a lunch visit. Enjoy a meal at the Bostwick Cafeteria with one of our students. This is an excellent opportunity to interact one-on-one in a casual atmosphere. Visiting students are matched with a current Bucknell student according to major, hometown, or areas of interest.

Please note that a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required to arrange your visit.

One Day Visit

Many high school seniors are making enrollment decisions during the spring, therefore, our One Day Visit option is limited to only admitted students from Monday, March 24 through Friday, April 25.

Designed for high school seniors, Bucknell University's One Day Visit program provides an opportunity to experience a typical day at Bucknell by observing a class, meeting with faculty, having lunch with a Bucknell student, and talking with Admissions personnel. The One Day Visit program begins at 9:00 AM each day and is available Monday through Friday when classes are in session.

Specific academic interests are featured on select days. Please check below to find your particular area of interest. If you cannot visit on the day your potential major is featured, please consider our other daily visit options: a tour and/or a preview session.

College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences includes more than 50 majors, professional and pre-professional programs. Different academic groupings are offered each day of the week. Please check the calendar day on which you would like to visit to view the available major listings for that day or scroll down this page to view the entire week. If your major interest is offered on a day that you are not able to visit, please consider a preview session and/or campus tour which are available Monday through Saturdays most weeks of the year.

College of Engineering

Students interested in engineering but who are undecided on a specific engineering major, or who cannot visit on the day featuring their potential engineering major of interest, are invited to visit on any day of the week. As with all other prospective engineering students, they will have the opportunity to speak with Associate Dean of Engineering Karen Marosi about professional opportunities in engineering and the programs in the College of Engineering.

Please note that a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required for high school seniors to take part in the One Day Visit program.
