Network Maintenance

Most of Bucknell's network services are available 24/7. In order to ensure the availability of these services ISR must complete regular maintenance. Maintenance is performed at off-peak times and may require a brief service interruption. View our maintenance schedule.

Virus prevention

Never open emails with attachments from people you don't know.
If you do get an attachment from someone that you know but usually does not send you files, call to check with them about the email.
Delete all email attachments you have not specifically requested.

Virus Hoaxes

Typically mailed in chain letter fashion, a virus hoax describes a malicious, highly unlikely virus.
Following the directions of the hoax can lead to the deletion of critical system files. Read about two common hoaxes:
