Only on campus for a few hours?

Be our guest for a lunch visit. Enjoy a meal at the Bostwick Cafeteria with one of our students. This is an excellent opportunity to interact with a Bucknell student in a casual atmosphere.

Lunch visits are for high school seniors and juniors only, and start at 12 noon. Families and other guests are welcome to enjoy lunch in The Bison (our a la carte facility) or in downtown Lewisburg. For dining suggestions, please see the front desk in the Office of Admissions.

Please note that a minimum of one week advance notice is required to arrange your lunch visit.

To Schedule: Please call the Office of Admissions at 570-577-3000 to schedule your lunch visit. Be certain to check specific calendar dates for availability.

A Day in the Life

During the spring semester, Bucknell University's Day in the Life program is only offered to our current high school senior applicants. This program provides them with an opportunity to experience a typical day at Bucknell by observing a class, meeting with a Bucknell faculty member, having lunch with a current student, participating in a more personalized campus tour, and chatting with Admissions personnel. Day in the Life is available Monday through Friday when classes are in session. Day in the Life typically runs from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (although, depending on class availability for certain areas of interest, could start as early as 7:30 a.m., and end as late as 5:00 p.m.)

Specific academic interests are featured on select days. If you cannot visit on the day your potential major is featured, please consider our other daily visit options.

Please note that a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required in order to take part in the Day in the Life program.

To Schedule: Appointments are required for Bucknell's Day in the Life program. Please call the Office of Admissions at 570-577-3000, Monday through Friday, between the hours of 8:45 a.m. and 4:15 p.m., to schedule a Day in the Life experience.
