  • A Day in the Life

Designed for high school seniors, Bucknell University's Day in the Life program provides an opportunity to experience a typical day at Bucknell by observing a class, meeting with faculty, having lunch with a Bucknell student, and talking with Admissions personnel. The Day in the Life program is available Monday through Friday when classes are in session. On Wednesdays, the Day in the Life typically runs from 9:30am to 3:00pm.

Specific academic interests are featured on select days. Featured options for Wednesdays are listed below. If you cannot visit on the day your potential major is featured, please consider our other daily visit options: a tour and/or a preview session.

    College of Arts and Sciences

The College of Arts and Sciences includes more than 50 majors, professional and pre-professional programs. If your major interest is offered on a day that you are not able to visit, please consider a preview session and/or campus tour which are available Monday through Saturdays most weeks of the year.

    College of Engineering

With approximately 194 engineering students entering Bucknell each year, we take great pride in the close relationships our faculty develop with our students. Along with small classroom sizes, Bucknell's undergraduate engineering facilities are among the best in the nation. We encourage high school seniors to come and see for themselves.

Please note that a minimum of two weeks advance notice is required for high school seniors to take part in the Day in the Life program.

To Schedule: Appointments are required for Bucknell's Day in the Life visits. Please call the Office of Admissions at 570-577-3000 to schedule a Day in the Life visit.
