HistoryOtherElectronics and the Campus Power OutageDear Campus Community:
As you have probably heard, there will be a scheduled power outage affecting campus THIS SUNDAY, May 26 beginning at 6:00 A.M. and concluding at approximately 7:00 P.M. in some areas.
Please turn off AND UNPLUG computer equipment in your work spaces prior to the outage. (Don't worry about public computer labs--we will take care of those.) Occasionally the sudden loss and/or restoration of electricity damages electronics.
Most on-line services (Bmail, Moodle, etc.) should remain available during the outage, although myBucknell will not be available. If you are on campus, you won't be able to access much of anything since the network (both wired and wireless) runs on electrical power.
