Citation and Format Style Guide
The most recent Chicago Manual of Style is very similar to the most recent Turabian guide (as Kate Turabian essentially developed Chicago style). As such, it is difficult to list the nuances between the two in brief. For a basic outline of Chicago format and examples of basic, frequently used citations, see the Turabian guide. For more complex citations that are not listed on the Turabian Quick Reference guide, it is best to consult The Chicago Manual of Style: The Essential Guide for Writers, Editors, and Publishers, Fifteenth Edition (Z253.U69 2003), available at the Reference Desk.
