Founded in 1889 by Professor Jean Aviragnet, the orchestra is composed of students and faculty from all departments of the university.

- Rooke Chapel Choir

Payn, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies (payn@bucknell.edu)The Rooke Chapel Choir has gained international recognition for its creative interpretations of some of the most significant twentieth-century American sacred repertory. The choir's select members represent nearly every major field of study at Bucknell, including the humanities, social sciences, natural sciences, business administration, education, and engineering.

- Rooke Chapel Ringers

William A. Payn, Professor of Music and Director of Choral Studies (payn@bucknell.edu)The Bucknell University Rooke Chapel Ringers were organized in 1983 under the direction of William A. Payn. The bell choir consists of 14 members who are selected by audition and who represent diverse major fields of study. The choir plays regularly for Protestant worship services on campus and participates in the traditional ringing-in-of-Christmas at Candlelight services in Rooke Chapel each December.

- Symphonic Band

William Kenny, Professor of Music and Director of Bands (kenny@bucknell.edu).The Symphonic Band is the central ensemble of the University Bands program at Bucknell. Recently, the Band was one of only four university bands from the East selected to perform for the conference of College Band Directors National Association. Membership generally numbers from sixty-five to eighty personnel.
