The Gladys Brooks Fund enables the Bertrand Library to build core collections for new courses and to add depth and/or new perspectives to existing collections. The fund supports a variety of one-time purchases, including books, audiovisual materials, electronic resouces and periodical backfiles.
Provide us with a paragraph about why this area is important, the courses it supports etc.
In a few sentences tell us what kinds of materials you would propose to buy with the funds. Note that the Gladys Brooks Fund can be used for one time expenditures only, eg. books, videos, journal backfiles, but not journal subscriptions.
Most requests range from $2,500 to $3,000, but proposals of any amount are welcome.
